Betsy Ahlquist, O.D.


Dr. Betsy Ahlquist is a native Ohioan, born and raised here in the Mahoning Valley. Dr. Ahlquist received her degree in optometry from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. She completed a residency where she was active in the diagnosis, treatment and triage of ocular disease, along with surgical pre- and post-operative management. In 2014, Dr. Ahlquist achieved the honor of diplomate status with the American Board of Optometry.

Located in Canfield, Ohio, Dr. Ahlquist founded Ahlquist Eye Care in 2005. Dr. Ahlquist has special interests in pediatrics, dry eye syndrome, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma management and macular degeneration as well as providing routine vision care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Ahlquist is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association. She also participates in the InfantSee program which provides one free eye examination to infants six to twelve months of age, as well as school screenings and community glaucoma screenings.

Dr. Ahlquist enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff and their three sons, Peyton, Parker and Palmer. She is active in her local church, enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.

Tiffany Kubis, O.D.


Dr. Tiffany Kubis is a native of Cambridge, Ohio. Dr. Kubis graduated from Bethany College in 2012 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree. She received her degree in optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in May 2016 graduating with Cum Laude distinction. She is also a member of the Ohio Optometric Association.

Dr. Kubis enjoys the profession of optometry and has special interest in treatment and management of ocular disease, contact lenses, as well as providing vision care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Kubis enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, who also shares a love of optometry. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, spending time outdoors, and playing volleyball.
